Abstract: Khi­va is one of the ancient cities of Khorezm. This arti­cle cov­ers Khiva’s his­to­ry, pre­served rich mem­o­ry; Khiva’s Islam the fact that it has become the tourism cap­i­tal of the world, to the mea­sures being tak­en is ded­i­cat­ed.

Key words: Khi­va, tourism, city Khi­va is the old­est in Uzbek­istan, found­ed 2500 years ago one of the cities. Accord­ing to their nar­ra­tion, Nuh is the son of Prophet Nuh in the city of Khi­va Som found­ed. Since the city is locat­ed on the car­a­van route, there are mer­chants there they shared often. Com­ing down to the city and com­ing out of its deep well the pas­sen­gers who enjoyed the good life shout­ed “hey-wow” in sur­prise. These Local res­i­dents inter­pret the city in their own way as “Hei-Woh”, “Khai­va”, “Khivak”

One of the chron­i­clers of that time Al-Istakhri (930) Khi­va includ­ed his city in the list of the 30 largest cities of his time. Trade the devel­oped and pros­per­ous city of Khi­va was destroyed by the Mon­gols at the begin­ning of the 13th cen­tu­ry was made, in the fol­low­ing cen­turies the city devel­oped in every way. Local Uzbek nobles with them the coun­try as a result of the bloody strug­gle for the cap­ture of the state was destroyed, and the peo­ple became impov­er­ished to an unbear­able extent. Final­ly, bloody wars and con­flicts have been stopped to some extent. By the begin­ning of the 19th cen­tu­ry Khi­va khanate was ascend­ed to the throne by khans from the Kunghi­rat dynasty, and until 1920, the office Ancient Khi­va is includ­ed in the UNESCO World Her­itage List. And accord­ing­ly, all attrac­tions are under the pro­tec­tion of the world orga­ni­za­tion received.

More than fifty archi­tec­tur­al mon­u­ments, muse­ums with 3 thou­sand years of his­to­ry talks about. Even today’s scenery of ancient his­to­ry is mag­i­cal.

Com­ing to Khi­va this appear­ance, which sur­pris­es and delights guests, is rec­og­nized by the whole world. Dec­la­ra­tion of the city as the tourism cap­i­tal of the Islam­ic world in 2024 it is a big real­i­ty. This good news made every­one hap­py. In Khi­va in 2024:

Khi­va under the slo­gan “Khi­va — the tourism cap­i­tal of the Islam­ic world in 2024” in March the offi­cial open­ing cer­e­mo­ny of the inter­na­tion­al event in the city; Tourism of the mem­ber coun­tries of the Orga­ni­za­tion of Islam­ic Coop­er­a­tion in Khi­va in May the 12th ses­sion of min­is­ters will be held.

Uzbek­istan as the main fac­tors of the vic­to­ry of the Orga­ni­za­tion of Islam­ic Coop­er­a­tion (OIC).

By the Pres­i­dent of the Repub­lic Shavkat Mirziy­oyev in the field of tourism the ongo­ing pol­i­cy of open­ness, sim­pli­fi­ca­tion of the visa regime, cul­tur­al her­itage rec­og­nized many reforms, such as preser­va­tion, beau­ti­fi­ca­tion of his­tor­i­cal cities.
