Kenya continues to face frequent fiber cuts caused by roadworks, drainage expansion, and construction activities, often affecting both underground and overhead fiber lines. In response, JTL has developed an innovative solution: the Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) product.
This technology combines the strength of our fixed fiber network with our mobile network, ensuring that customers remain connected even during fiber disruptions. Whenever a fiber cut occurs, the connection automatically switches to our mobile network, allowing users to stay online wherever they are and at any time of day. This innovation reflects our continuous effort to tailor solutions that address real customer needs.
Security is another priority for modern households. With JTL’s dependable connectivity, residents can seamlessly access their CCTV systems, monitor their homes, and stay in control of their safety from anywhere. This makes our partnership with the Metro Alliance not just a technology collaboration, but a contribution to safer, more empowered neighborhoods.
