Over the years Africa as a continent has been viewed as a continent with incapabilities in almost all aspects. The western countries have always been respected because of their early advancement in terms of technology and civilization.
However, things are now changing .The African race is now proving the usual norm wrong. This is because of what Africans are doing for the betterment of life globally. Such areas like leadership, sports, music and innovations have proved Africans able. To be specific, a leader like the 44th president of the United States of America Barack Obama, has served so well in a country which is the most powerful globally. The former United States of America president has his roots from Kenya.
In the world of sports, African players have also proved to the entire universe that Africa is indeed gifted. The likes of Sadio Mane a footballer from Senegal was ranked the second in the Balloon d’or awards after Karim Benzema.This is a great achievement as the world has started viewing Africans different
