By Our Correspondent
Nyandarua County Governor Francis Kimemia was among hundreds of mourners who attended the burial of four children who recently died in a fire incident.
The governor was at Matuiku-Bosinia village in Rurii Ward, Ol’Kalou Sub-County, where he joined the family, relatives and friends of the late Simom Maina, Bereka Mbiri, Edi Karugia and Susan Wanjiku in laying them to rest.
The four children, aged between three and nine year, lost their young lives in an inferno that razed down their home last week.
The governor encouraged the bereaved to find solace in God during these difficult times, and acknowledge His sovereignty.
The County boss supported the family financially and emotionally, in addition to ongoing reconstruction of its home.
He was accompanied by County Executive Committee Member for Youth, Sports, Gender and Social Services Anne-Mary Gathigia, alongside Chief of Staff Mr. Charles Wachira and Chief Officer for Water, Environment and Climate Change Mr. Lawrence Gitau.
