Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur is one of the great people who had a great influence on the entire Asian civilization. As fate would have it, he occupied Afghanistan first, and then India, and made a turning point in the historical development of these countries.

Since the 16th century, the whole world has read and known “Boburnoma”, which was translated several times into different languages – Persian, Dutch, English, French, Russian, Turkish, Spanish, German. Dozens of works of art have been created on the basis of “Baburnoma” in world literature about Babur’s personality, his purpose in life, his activities as a king and a poet. Based on the personality and noble qualities of Babur Mirza, several centuries ago in America and Europe Rushbrook Williams’s “Sixteenth Century Builder”, Harayat Lamb’s “Babur-Tiger”, Anna Flora Steele’s “The Crowned Dervish” and the works created about him other works are recognized around the world. In Uzbek literature, P. Kadirov, H. Sultonov, B. Boyqabilov created novels, short stories and epics dedicated to Babur.
People’s writer of Uzbekistan Pirimkul Kadyrov’s novels “Starry Nights” and “Avlodlar Dovani” dedicated to the life of Babur and his descendants have been published in several world languages. To the English reader’s question about the reason why the writer chose Babur and the Baburi dynasty to create a historical novel, the writer answered: “Great figures like Babur Mirza and his descendants, especially Akbar, are very rare in history, in the history of the world. The French writer Ernst Renan says that “these three people – Babur Mirza, Humayun, Akbar – continued each other’s work very well in a unique way in history.” In fact, they improved and improved a country as big as India. Therefore, I considered writing a work about them as an exemplary event not only for Uzbekistan, but also for the peoples of the East.”
The life path of Zahiriddin Babur, who left a bright mark in the history of Uzbek literature and spirituality of the 15th-16th centuries, is an example for future generations. A descendant of the great Amir Temur – Babur Mirza is a child of our Turkestan, Turan. Babur considered himself the representative of the Turkic peoples when the Uzbek people had not yet formed. The generation of Timurid lived for 150 years in Turkestan and Afghanistan and 330 years in India. The main part of this period is related to the name of the Baburis.
Although Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur had a short life, he left an indelible mark on the world map of his difficult life path from Andijan to India. The roads that Babur walked are the roads that witnessed many historical events, tragedies, and wars. At the same time, Babur showed his love, kindness, and true human quality in India, where he finally settled. He founded a new era in the history of India, this era was a period based on bright life, prosperity and growth in the history of the country. As Babur scholar Hamid Sulaiman pointed out, Babur’s benefit for India was not plundering the conquered land, but gradually uniting the scattered, small feudal states here into a single, strong state, putting an end to internal feudal wars and religious disputes, reconciled people of different religions and sects.
Babur is an inimitable person as a king and as a creator. He is a brave person who, by his work and life, has set a statue for the patience of mankind. Due to his lofty human ideas and deeds, Babur won from the difficult fate of being far away from his homeland. As a king, he created a great empire, as a creator he was able to demonstrate his rare potential and rightly contributed to the world civilization. It is fair to say that the legacy left by Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur is one of the main cornerstones of the civilization of Uzbekistan today.
