Kenya Kwanza, Nyeri chapter to be launched soon

Kenya Kwanza, Nyeri County chapter lobby group members yesterday met at Senior Chief Wambugu Palace near Nyeri town for the second time since its formation last month.
They members, drawn from politicians who lost various posts during the UDA nominations last month expect to officialy launch the lobby in the next few days.
Once the official launch is made, the team that has membership from losers from all parts of the county will hit the road to popularise Deputy President as the people’s choice for the fifth President of the Republic of Kenya.
“We deliberated on various issues and resolved to among other things intensifies our UDA presidential campaign. We are soon going to officialy launch our lobby group as well our presidential campaign for Dr William Ruto to become the 5th President of the Republic of Kenya,” said Wanyaga Gathaka, the lobby chairman.
He added that they will ve requesting Dr Ruto to consider nominating Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua as his running mate due to among other reasons, his good will in the mountain region and his vast experience in public administration.
Another member of the group, John Mathenge Matutu who contested the Tetu parliamentary seat said they were ready and willing to mobilise Nyerians to vote for Dr Ruto once elections are called on August 9.
“We are ready to hit the road and make sure Dr William Ruto becomes the next president,” he said after the closed door meeting.
