Ubuntu Peoples Forum (UPF) will be fielding former Principal Secretary for Devolution John Dalton Konchella as its candidate for the Kilgoris parliamentary seat.
And during the Easter holiday,Β top party leadership visited the constituency to drum up for the former PS.
The team urged the Kilgoris residents to support Konchellah saying he is a development minded leader who if elected will steer the constituency forward and uplift their standards of living.
The team which also included Nakuru County Governor Lee Kinyanjui and the UPF Executive Director John Gakunga said they were optimistic that Konchellah will be elected the next Kilgoris MP.
“We believe in his leadership skills exibited during his time as PS Devolution between 2013-2014 and the two terms he served as NEMA Board Chairman from 2015 to this year,” the Nakuru Governor told the gathering.
Also present was Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina, area MCA Ole Soiso among other leaders.
