Former Kigumo constituency Member of Parliament, Jamleck Kamau over the Easter holiday intensified his bid to be the second governor of Murang’a County.
Kamau took his campaigns to his home constituency where held a series of meetings in Kaharati, Heho and PCEA within Muthithi Ward.
He actively interacted with the locals with discussions centering on farming, health and infrastructure.
Particularly, the locals raised the issue of affordable health care with the aspiring governor on Jubilee ticket saying he will ensure the issue is give priority once he is elected the governor.
“Quality, affordable health care is the foundation for individuals to lead productive and fulfilling lives and for countries to have strong economies. Universal health coverage (UHC) is about ensuring that people have access to the health care they need without suffering financial hardship,” he noted.
Kamau has of late organised dozens of medical camps all over the county that have seen thousands of locals attended to by medics free of charge.
