The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Nyeri Water and Sewerage Company (NYEWASCO) Patrick Karinga flagged off his team that wil participate in Water and Swwerage Companies (WASCO) games taking place in Kisumu County.
The games being hosted by Kisumu Water and Sewerage Company (KIWASCO) will be taking place between today and Friday.
Nyewasco is being represented in a variety of disciplines.
While flagging off the team, Karinga urged them to observe a high level of discipline both in and out of the field.
He also asked them to engage in healthy competition and take the time out of their usual duties to network and learn from their counterparts drawn from the water sector.
The Chairman was flanked by the Managing Director and members of the senior management team.
This year’s Wasco games theme is ‘Reduction of non-revenue water through community participation and sports’.
Nyeri Water and Sanitation Company is the reigning NRW champions .
