The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) was not left behind in observing the Customer Service Week.
On their Facebook page, the noted,
“To cap off Customer Service week, Mr. Emile Arao, KCAA Director General, today awarded Customer Service Champions from various directorates in a ceremony held at KCAA headquarters.

Congratulations to Wesley Bor – Air Navigation Services, Nelly Emisiko – Corporate Services, Eddah
Njeri – EASA, George Mbugua – Internal Audit department, and Justus Kurgat – Aviation Safety Security and Regulation for exemplary customer-focused service delivery.”

KCAA primary functions include; Regulation and oversight of Aviation Safety & Security; Economic regulation of Air Services and development of Civil Aviation; Provision of Air Navigation Services, and Training of Aviation personnel KCAA; as guided by the provisions of the convention on international civil aviation, related ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs), the Kenya Civil Aviation Act, 2013 and the civil aviation regulations.
