Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua yesterday joined faithful for a Sunday service in Maralal, Samburu County.
The DP joined faithful at Maralal Cathedral Parish where the Mass was celebrated by Bishop Hieronymus Emusugut Joya.
After the mass, Gachagua thanked the people of Samburu County for their support of Kenya Kwanza Administration and voting for them during the August polls.
“The development issues facing this region for a long time, including insecurity, poor road networks, health and water challenges, will be addressed by the Kenya Kwanza Administration working closely with the leaders of the county,” he told the faithful as he called on them to discard some vices like cattle rustling.
The DP was accompanied by among others, Samburu County Governor Lati Lelelit, Deputy Governor Gabriel Lelegwesi, area Woman Representatives Pauline Lenguris, Baringo Women Representative Jematia Sergon, Members of Parliament Rûkû G K (Mbeere North), Eng. Nebert Muriuki (Mbeere South), Karani Wachira (Laikipia West) as well as several MCAs from Samburu County.
