This mean of transport has been adapted majorly by being flexible. But unfortunately it is creating more misery and fear in the roads. Significantly the sector has employed many people especially youths who earn an income, also shuns youths from engaging into crime activities and empowering ones brain to work hard.
According to the report by the NTSA motorcycle accidents are exponentially increasing. This is highly promoted by lack of behavioural conduct, like when someone rides at a very high speed even between vehicles. Consequently it has even lead to permanent injuries to customers, deaths and badly crushing innocent pedestrians which on the contrary affects more the families of the victims.
Another consideration is the underage children starting to ride without proper know-how and respect when carrying customers. These children are the ones who carry more than excess people at the moment also at a high speed. Lack of wearing helmet, gloves and reflectors worsens the situation especially when an unfortunate accident occurs; this brings out the issue of not following rules.
It is good for any stage to ignore and disallow children under the age of 18 years by registering members of each stage. Also every bodaboda rider must following required rules that’s carrying one customer and wearing helmets. Importantly respect and good conduct will prevent these bad outcomes before calling for unsustainable cure.
