The Best Water And Sanitation Firm, Nyewasco Triumphs At Wasco Games

Nyeri County based Water and Sanitation services provider has continued to also lead in other aspects.
The firm; Nyeri Water and Sanitation Company (Nyewasco) fraternity is all in the celebration mood after securing a commendable second place in the recently concluded Water Sports Companies Organization (Wasco) Games.
The event that was held in Murang’a County last month was the 13th edition of the Wasco Games and it attracted over 52 water companies from across the country.
Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company emerged the overall winner, with Nyewasco claiming the position of first runners-up.
Thika Water and Sewerage Company rounded out the top three as second runners-up.
The theme for this year’s games was “Combating Climate Change Through Sports.”
Nyewasco has proudly maintained its second-place position for three consecutive years.
In celebration of their achievement, the company’s staff dedicated Friday to cleaning up the streets of Nyeri Town.
Nyewasco’s Managing Director Eng. Peter Kahuthu while addressing the media about their commitment to sports said, “We have embraced sports as a means to further motivate our staff to provide exceptional services to our consumers,”.
He added, “Our consistent performance in the sports arena reflects the dedication of our entire team. To remain a leading water service provider in Kenya, we put significant effort into developing our staff both professionally and in sports.”
Eng. Kahuthu continued, “We believe in fostering a culture that balances work and talent. Our focus on sports is part of our broader commitment to supporting our staff’s diverse abilities. We pride ourselves on being an all-round workforce.”
Mr. Gathogo Mwangi, the firm’s board chairperson, expressed confidence in their continued success. “Our clean-up exercise in Nyeri Town underscores our commitment to environmental stewardship,” he said.
“We are thrilled to retain our second-place position in the Wasco Games and look forward to continued excellence in both our core services and sporting endeavors.”
