LOVE — THE BEGINNING OF HUMANITY…
Love is such a divine feeling that its power illuminates any heart and gives it meaning. It can transform a king into a beggar and a beggar into a king. For a person, understanding and feeling love correctly is the most important meaning of life. Because love is the beginning of the human heart. The beginning of everything is love. Each of us draws strength from the love in our hearts for our dreams, goals, and aspirations. It is clear that the only force holding the world together is love. This truth is beautifully expressed in the following lines from a poet’s pen:
“Who says the world is transient,
Who says it is eternal?
Who understands true love,
Finds themselves for sure.
The force that holds the world,
Is love, the only one.”
Yes, in this world, a person who understands love is the one who has found themselves. Love is not only the relationship between a girl and a boy. It is the love for the Creator, for the motherland, and for humanity. It binds human hearts with spiritual chains, and these chains lead only to happiness, light, goodness, and perfection. In reality, love embraces the entire existence. With its diverse forms, it gives meaning to life. Every person feels love in their heart and imagination in different ways. However, no one can be blamed for the lack of love, because love exists in every heart, it is just that the ability to sense, understand, and appreciate it varies. The life we live is proof of the immense love the Creator has for us. He gave us breath, granted the gift of life, and enabled us to feel existence in this world. Therefore, love is a divine feeling that enters our hearts through more than just seeing but through feeling. If we did not have love for life, nothing could hold us in this world. Love is the beginning of human existence. The creation of humanity, its striving to live, its goals and aspirations—all stem from love. At the center of every action in our lives is love. The great poet Yunus Emre also said:
“We did not come to this world to be proud.
We came for love, to earn the affection of others,
To love creatures, to show compassion and love for created things.”
IS LOVE BECOMING MATERIALISTIC?
Today, people have become accustomed to measuring the divine essence of love with materialism, forgetting its true nature. The purest feelings of the heart have become slaves to money and wealth. This has led to the loss of sincerity in human hearts, pushing them toward spiritual poverty. Love is a divine feeling, and its power cannot be measured by material wealth. It is the most delicate and pure chain of the human heart, transcending all other feelings. However, unfortunately, there are people in this world who sacrifice love for their own personal interests. Trying to measure love with material things is not understanding its true essence. Because true love can only be reciprocated with love. The love given from the heart is met with love from the heart. It is not material wealth, but the purity of the heart, loyalty, and deep passion that makes love valuable. In true love, there is no place for personal gain or selfish interests. It binds hearts, gives meaning to life, and leads people to greater heights.
