Zetech University, a premier institution for the education of Technology, Science and Business has launched a special program aimed at empowering its staff and students.
The initiative, dubbed, “Wezesha Innovation Program” is aimed at rejuvenating those who have dreams of starting their own businesses or testing an Innovation idea.
It is being marshalled by the institution’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hub, commonly referred to as iZET Hub, and will be running from March 17 to June 30 with the deadline for registration being Friday next week.
Those who will choose to participate will, among other things, gain extreme training in marketing, finance, legal matters, intellectual property, IT, and business development.
They will also have an opportunity to collaborate with industry experts and fellow innovators.
Further, participants will get a chance to access personalised mentorship and support tailored to their needs.
At the same time, the university has organised professional poultry farming training where those interested will be inducted at its Technology Park, situated at the Mang’u campus along Nairobi-Thika highway.
The training is set to take place in the four Saturdays of this month, beginning coming one will see those interested empowered with poultry farming skills and further awarded with certificates upon completion.
