Deputy President Dr William Ruto yesterday attended the burial of Kikuyu Member of Parliament Kimani Ichungw’a mother-in-law.
The DP was received by among others Nyeri County governor Mutahi Kahiga and several other leaders.
The DP observed the deceased, Mama Mary Wamuyu Kario as a God-fearing, responsible and selfless woman.
Other leaders described her as a visionary and enterprising woman who raised diligent children.
They said she they will miss her company and warmth.
The burial took place in Magutu, Mathira Constituency, Nyeri County.
