I blame them not
For it was the right way
The actions were clear
And the notions just as the sun
The ideas would not lie
I blame them not
For what i went through
For in it i learnt endurance
To get the real me
How could i imagine they were wrong?
Just because of their discord
The harshness that was
It was a voice of fairness
I blame them not
Having not been chosen as king
With the beautiful things i did
To get there attention to me
Though left not without pain
I see it was my mistake
I scorned
And dangled the chain to myself
I blame them not
For in my humility i got betrayal
And my innocence cost me my love
I died
Just to obtain a bright queen
But she didn’t appreciate my worth
But just for the sake of the name she did
I blame them not
I lied to myself
My conscience
You lied to me
Now i have to accept
For the work of my pen
I blame them not
