Worth Noting:

Excellence is not a gift, but a skill that takes practice. We do not act rightly because we are excellent, in fact we achieve excellence by acting rightly……..……… Plato.
A new born baby usually communicates through crying as he has not developed verbal communication. Once he cries he attracts the mother’s attention who in turn checks at him to identify what is bothering him. Crawling, walking and eating are still difficult tasks for the kid at this stage. By the time he is around two years he manages to do all these as he is eager to imitate what the mother or the care giver is doing. Starting with a single word straining to pronounce it he does not feel shy that he has got the pronunciation wrong but continues until he perfects the art to resemble that of the mother or anyone around him.
If the way the way the mother pronounces it is wrong the kid will follow suit and pronounce it in a wrong way.
Unable to walk but willing to do as the mother he starts by crawling before learning to use the structures around as reinforcement as he stands and walks around.
His determination yields to ability to speak like his mum or caregiver, ability to walk around and at times ability to sing. If this happens and success is attained at a tender age so are many other things provided one has determination to succeed.
Watching at sportsmen compete you will bear me witness that it is not guaranteed the team than won during the previous meeting will win the next meeting even if the set of players remain the same. Some of the reasons being training where either of the team was able to know areas in which the competitor was doing better than them then deliberately commence on a journey to fine tune their skills so as to emerge victorious.
There is also the feeling among the team members that they do not want to suffer consecutive defeats so they train hard and some of them happen to win.

Your teacher who you admire for his good masterly of the subject was once an innocent trainee but with persistence in training over time he had been able to internalize the subject not only for himself but also imparting that knowledge to other trainees with confidence.
In whatever field you wish to be in future all you need to do is to start training about it, repeat the process till you internalize it, apply it in real life situations and become innovative in it.
