A foreword is vital to give a glimpse, brief indication of what the book is bearing, or simply what to expect!
It is not a blurb.
Things are changing and the need for quality work is not a negotiation in today’s world if one wants to be the best writer.A detailed review is needed, and two or more paragraphs from reputable authors or expect in the field of the written book are important. Gone are the days one could solely pioneer or write their book and cement it as a sole source of knowledge and ideas.
We need a research prior to launching a book idea to show the preparation of the well cooked book.
Are we going to sit and fold our arms as immaculate change bring forth fruits and we become stagnant in old standards?
Editors needs to raise bar, not forgetting the beautiful Illustrators or designers. The book covers are the key or the principal opening to the interest of the community out there, in order to buy the book.
I wrote a foreword for this young amazing Zimbabwean Author ✍🏽 🇿🇼 !His called Elton Hlabano Johnson and he is doing well in the book world.
Truly we shall be part of this amazing revolution in terms of reviews pinned as foreword to emancipate a girl child.
Books are an art to understand and learn, therefore be different in the self publishing era with technology advancement that brings nations and the best in our troop at our own disposition.
Last month a young Kenyan also asked me to pen him a foreword, and one Ugandan folk had an amazing book to share with me.
It is a blessing to be part of this dynamic endeavor.
