After passing the KCSE exams, parents are happy that their sons and daughters have hit the target of joining university. They therefore go along way of ensuring their children join and get to do the causes they are allocated.
I would not say the fresh men and ladies are always elated at this moment and one would actually copy the posing styles for a photo since taking photos remain to be one of their traits.
It is during this time that some continuing students,
I will not say men, would start hunting on beautiful fresh ladies in the name of ‘just making friends’. My question is that, where do they take the fresh ladies they had before these ones?
After a two week stay in campus, a first year student would be heard making calls in the name of money for upkeep.
The truth is that some find it difficult to stay with an M-pesa balance of zero but some struggle for existence with a hope of receiving an M-pesa message at the end of the day. All in all, they would get used to the campus life just as their fellows.
