A farmer of Haryana and his family were upset for his son`s obesity.
Children mocked at him for his fat body as he was very fat.
The boy`s uncle took him for running in the stadium
but he didn`t like running. He saw some javelin throwers who
were throwing it and got interested in the javelin throw game.
Can you guess the name? Before 2020 we don`t know his
name but today the world knows about him everything. We
Indians feel proud of being Indians ourselves because he is
originally from Indian army.
Yes, you are absolutely correct Neeraj Chopra. He had
started his career at the age of 18 years. His father went to
register his name in gymnasium and he began doing exercise
in gym a lot. He became enough fit for going in the Indian
army. Neeraj Chopra was in the battalion and played different
games. Everybody saw a sparkling talent to become a javelin
thrower. He participated in Asian games in 2018 and got silver
medal in it. Then the history was created in Tokyo Olympics
2020 which was postponed as COVID-19 and actually it was
organized in 2021. Neeraj Chopra gave us golden achievement
in javelin throw ever in the history for the first time.
The journey from a very fat boy to an Indian javelin throw
athlete was totally struggling. The throw of 87.8 meter of
javelin became well known all over India and the world and at
present in Common Wealth Games he bagged another silver
medal in javelin throw. He got these achievements due to
going towards excellence in his game.
The list is huge who got achievements because of getting
excellence in their fields. They kept in mind constantly I want
to do the best work and I want to improve my work day by day that type of passion and patience of chasing excellence
gives this kind of achievement like Neeraj Chopra.
Actors are many in Bollywood but why only
Amitabh Bachchan is excellent, the most famous and
called Sahenshah of all actors because of excellence.
Sachin Tendulkar in cricket got excellence in batting and
became pioneer for all the present age cricketers. The
formula seems simple but applying in a person`s own
profession is the toughest. Excellence asks a lot
persistence, struggle, consistency in performances and
practice until you do the best work for yourself.
If you are ready to give your 100% in xyz work and you
don`t satisfy until you get excellent work, Then excellence
is possible only. We think that it is the matter of doing
competitions with others but actually it is the matter of self
competition consistently day by day doing better and
better and at last you will get excellence in your work.
” Our goal should be excellence not perfection as perfection can’t be achieved ever.”
