Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA) boss Terry Ramadhani at the weekend hosted her family and several leaders to a thanksgiving ceremony near her parents’ home.
Ms. Ramadhani treated her family to a sumptuous mealย during the prayer ceremony that doubled as her birthday party.
Several leaders, led by Cooperatives, Micro and Small Enterprises Cabinet Secretary Simon Chelugui, attended the ceremony at Muthinga PCEA Church in Tetu constituency.
Others present were AMREF boss Dr Githinji Gitahi, Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga, Deputy Governor David Kinaniri, area MP Geoffrey Wandeto, Ahadi Kenya CEO Stanley Kamau, former Dagoretti South MP Dennis Waweru and Nyeri nominated MCA Kariithi Wambui.
The leaders applauded Ms Ramadhani for her exemplary performance during her stint as the drug supplying agency head.
The former Dagoretti South MP was very particular, and she told Governor Kahiga to “protect” Ms Ramadhani and ensure she is not shown the door.
Waweru took the time to also thank Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua for making it possible for his friends in the new government.
He said he would fully support the Deputy President in his endeavour to deliver various issues for the benefit of the mountain region.
The other leaders said the KEMSA boss had what it takes to steer the medical supplies agency to greater heights.
