Many people so call themselves as modern people yet they are still in traditional status up to now. They are many things that make our people to feel like they are modern such as fancy houses they lives in, luxurious cars they drives, expensive watches and clothes they wear and so on, but this doesn’t guarantees that they are modern.
Modernistic is an aspect of mind but not how we live a freestyle life. It is an aspects of how principled we are but not how our interests guides us. These so called ‘My dress, my choice’ have indeed rotten our society and they reasons absurdly when it comes to mode of dressing especially our young people.
Modernistic is not counted by how we have constructed modern express ways such the recently commissioned road that connects to JKIA international airport or Thika Super Highway but how efficiently use them. Despite these improvements in our towns there are still accidents that have been reported recently.
Up to this point the experiences that Africans states have in matter of modernistic deserves to be called little modernistic. This is dangerous because it is the root of all evils and corruption. They even baptize corruption as frauds, money laundering or even embezzlements of funds instead of calling it theft.
African states need to breathe hygiene into politics in order to start modernistic in their states and embrace good governance.
