The Speaker of Nyeri County Assembly John Kaguchia is optimistic of capturing the Mukurwe-ini parliamentary seat during the Tuesday General Election.
Kaguchia has been criss-crossing the constituency articulating his manifesto to the residents.
Some of the issues he has promised to address if elected are improvement of road infrastructure, renovation of public learning institutions infrastructure, connection of water and electricity in all homesteads and improvement of security.
Further, Kaguchia has promised farmers involved in various subsectors that he will ensure they have access to farm inputs at ab affordable cost.
Yesterday, Kaguchia took his campaign to among other areas, Kanunga where hundreds of his supporters vowed to support his bid as he had demonstrated that he was capable of uplifting their standards of living.
He is facing it with among others, the incumbent Anthony Githiaka Kiai whois defending the seat on The Service Party (TPS), Eng.Kariuki Wa Muchemi of Jubilee party and lawyer Kariuki Munyiri.
