Wario Guyo Adhe is the newly elected Member of Parliament for North Horr. Mr Wario won on a KANU ticket. Mr Guyo isn’t alien to his constituency. He has been offering tangible and practical solutions to mitigate the effects of drought by mobilising donor resources to cushion the pastoralist community.
Speaking to journalists, the outspoken legislator said
“I’m very grateful to the people of North Horr for believing in my able leadership. I’ve walked the journey with them and I promise never to let them down.”
Mr Guyo is a well-known philanthropist who has mobilised donor funding to the benefit of North Horr People. So far I’ve drilled more than twelve boreholes to quench the pastoralist communities especially in the drought ravaged region.
Mr Guyo called for the strengthening of the Constituency Development Fund which has brought about a positive transformation in many areas across the country.
Mr Guyo also pledged to beef up security in a bid to bring about peace in the region and also warned some politicians who have been inciting ethnic clashes
