Kinyua wa Iratu - Chairman of the Association of Real Estate Developers
By John Kariuki
Players in the Real Estate sector have adopted deliberate measures to end cases of Kenyans being conned money by fraudulent land-buying and selling companies.
Over 100 firms have formed a lobby dubbed Association of Real Estate Stakeholders to restore sanity in the sector that has been infiltrated by unscrupulous cartels who have been swindling Kenyans’ money in sham land deals.
Kinyua wa iratu is the Chairman of the Association of Real Estate Developers and he says,
“We thought it prudent to self-regulate so that we can weed out the few bad elements that have been tarnishing our name. We are therefore calling upon members to come and join us so that we can work together for progress. We assure Kenyans of clean land deals and we shall be calling out those are having the underhand tactics to ruin our good name,” Kinyua concluded.
