Schools are opening in the country and parents are on the rush to pay school fees for their children have it is mandatory before the children report to school and resume classes. But parents are finding it difficult and tiresome for them to pay the school fees this is because most of our banks in the country are full for fee payment. This force most of the parents to wake up early and go to the bank to wait because when it reaches around 11am the bank is full , people have to make a line and wait to be served. On the other hand this makes most of the students to report to school late in time after the schedule time and even others are send home because of coming late by the teacher not knowing the student has waste a lot of time in the bank waiting to be served.
My take today is to urge the Banking Service in our country Kenya to improve their banking services. For example each and every bank operating in the country and they are mostly used by schools for fee payment they should incorporate with schools and put up the banking agent near the schools or around school compound, this will enable most students to pay fee easily and also to reduce on the time wasted and most important it will reduce the case money being stolen and the issue of insecurity.
