Worth Noting:
- It is known that the experience of the mentor-disciple tradition, which has an educational impact on future specialist teachers in higher educational institutions, is expressed as a practically proven factor.
- At this point, we can say that the Dean of the Bukhara State Pedagogical and Languages Faculty, Tosheva Dildora Abdumalikovna, and my Scientific Supervisor, the Head of the Uzbek and Russian Languages Faculty, Saidova Rayhonoy Abdug’anievna, are examples of our mentors.
- During the period when a student is learning a skill or a craft under the guidance of a teacher, it is necessary to carefully observe his every movement and work style, even what to put where, which side to pay more attention to.
If the student is shaykhulislam, if he is a judge,
If the teacher approves, God approves.
(Alisher Navoi)
In Uzbekistan, The 1st of October is widely celebrated as “Teachers and Mentors Day”. The dream of teachers-coaches is only to see the perfection of their students, there is probably no need for a special day to please the hearts of our dear and valuable teachers-coaches. Because the fact that October 1 is celebrated as “Teachers and Mentors” day shows the high attention paid to them.
There are many verses and hadiths in the Holy Qur’an about the fact that acquiring knowledge and spreading it is a highly meritorious work. In one of these, our Prophet (peace be upon him) learned
described the disseminators, i.e. teachers, as follows, and stated that the merits they achieve are very great:
It is said in the hadith that narrated by Imam Bayhaqi and Abu Ya’lokar Anas ibn Malik (r.a.), our Prophet (pbuh):
They said, “Shall I give you the news of the generous people? I am the most generous person. After me, the most generous person among you is the one who learned knowledge and spread his knowledge. He will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection as a single ummah.”
Of course, teachers are worthy of such high rewards.
Today’s time demands raising science to a new level along with all fields. Indeed, it is no coincidence that the science lies at the root of the solution to the current issues facing the society. Doing science is like digging a well with a needle. In this way, mentors and teachers who have overcome great trials with their intelligence and understanding will help. Honoring teachers is also recognized in our religion. When the great teachers were asked whether “science” is better or “decency”, they answered that “decency” is better. Indeed, if a person has knowledge but no manners, his knowledge is of no use to anyone.
It is known that the experience of the mentor-disciple tradition, which has an educational impact on future specialist teachers in higher educational institutions, is expressed as a practically proven factor. Paying attention to issues such as the fact that the aspects of the scientific and technical development process are being perfected at a rapid pace, new pedagogical technologies and innovative methods are introduced into their system in a wide range of cases, as well as determining the professional relevance of future specialists, helping them in a timely manner. orientation, the need to use the tradition of teacher-apprenticeship. On its basis, the issues of bringing up a well-rounded generation found its expression.
At this point, we can say that the Dean of the Bukhara State Pedagogical and Languages Faculty, Tosheva Dildora Abdumalikovna, and my Scientific Supervisor, the Head of the Uzbek and Russian Languages Faculty, Saidova Rayhonoy Abdug’anievna, are examples of our mentors. Our teachers are advanced in every way, aspiring, demanding, ambitious, everyone admires them, and they are our favorite teachers in the school of students. Our dean, Tosheva Dildora Abdumalikovna, has been working for 17 years. Our teachers have achieved many international achievements in the field of science and knowledge. Our dean is a master’s student of the National University of Uzbekistan, a teacher of the “Language theory and literature” department, a senior researcher-researcher of the “Language and theory and practice” department. Intern at Istanbul University between 2020-2021. Currently, she is working as the Dean of the Language Faculty of the Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute.
My academic supervisor, Saidova Rayhonoy Abdug’anievna, is the most ideal, demanding, fair, kind teacher of our institute in every way. They have been working for 24 years. Our teacher is a graduate student of Bukhara State University between 2015 and 2017.
After successfully completing her master’s degree, she started her work at this university as a teacher of the Department of Primary and Preschool Education, and in 2021-2022, she was a senior teacher of the Department of Uzbek and Russian Languages of the Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute. Currently, she is working as the head of the Department of Languages. Our teachers have achieved many international achievements.
May both of our mentors be blessed with health, long life and happy life to all mentors in their difficult but honorable professions. Courage and perseverance never leave them. I wish to always walk in the footsteps of disciples, and that every moment of the paths of life passed will be a blessing for the ages.
Even today, the tradition of mentor-apprenticeship is used in many work communities, including government agencies. However, the current reforms in personnel policy require the implementation of mentoring in an official and professional manner. There are unwritten laws in life, but if they are not followed, there are ugly consequences. One of these is the mentor-student relationship. Among the people, the manners, values and conditions of communication between teachers and students have been living, maturing and developing for thousands of years in the form of such unwritten laws. There is no one who has a profession that he has not matured after seeing a teacher. The ties between the teacher and the disciple are very delicate and can be severed if a slight movement is made. In order for such a situation not to happen, first of all, the student must have unlimited love for his teacher, trust him, understand his every word and behavior, and follow him. A student should make it a habit to accept what he has learned from his teacher and receive his blessing before starting independent work. The disciples who did not receive prayers and did not approve of the teacher did not have a white cup, did not have one or two, never had a job, and did not have a blessing in the work they started. Consent is a matter of moral decency. Only a teacher who is satisfied with his student gives him a blessing from the heart.
It is not for nothing that our people said the wise phrase “A disciple who has not seen a teacher – blankets for every position”.
During the period when a student is learning a skill or a craft under the guidance of a teacher, it is necessary to carefully observe his every movement and work style, even what to put where, which side to pay more attention to.
Also, Shahlo Jumayeva, the teacher of mother tongue and literature science of our educational center “Ziyokor Education” in Kyziltepa district of Navoi region, who was the reason for us to find our place in today’s society after studying at a higher educational institution, and the teacher of English language I wrote this article today to express our gratitude to our teacher Nargiza Nosirova.
Shahlo Jumayeva has been working as a teacher for 20 years. She studied at Bukhara State University. Currently, he teaches at the 8th school in Kyziltepa district. In addition, she is preparing students for entrance exams at the “Ziyokor Education” Training Center. So far, more than 200 students have received the National Certificate in Mother Tongue Literature. More than 1000 students are studying in higher education institutions. The teacher’s students are taking pride of place at the Science Olympiad and various competitions at the district, regional, and national levels. Nargiza Nosirova, our English teacher, has been working as a teacher for 20 years. Our teachers graduated from the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute. At first, she started teaching English in the 39th specialized school in Kyziltepa district. Our teacher is dedicated to her profession, advanced, has found her place in society, and is one of our teachers that known to the people. In 2017, my teacher was awarded the “Medal of Fame” by the Honorable President Shavkat Miromonivich Mirziyoyev. She is currently teaching at the 5th general secondary school. In addition, she prepares students for the entrance exams of higher education institutions in the “Ziyokor Education” Educational Center. More than 1,000 students of my teacher have achieved the highest results in the IELTS test. More than 2,000 students are now lucky to be students. Our teacher has achieved many international achievements. For example, she recently became the owners of the International Grand, and in connection with winning this grand, she is being paid 1000 dollars per month for 1 year in addition to their monthly salaries now.
The lesson from the story is that one who loves and honors his teacher will attain great virtues. The one who displeases the teacher will be deprived of the blessing of knowledge. It is my greatest happiness to be a student of such successful and ideal teachers of our institute. May the tradition of mentorship with my mentors be long and lasting.
Happy holiday, dear teachers and coaches!
