Governor Kimemia issues empowerment gears to locals as he consolidates support
Nyandarua Governor Francis Kimemia issuing uniforms to a sporting team from Rurii ward in Ol-Kalou constituency.

Nyandarua County Governor Francis Kimemia has issued welfare equipment and sports kits to different social groups in Rurii Ward, Ol-Kalou Sub County.
The governor gave tents, chairs, motorcycle spare parts to various youth and community groups as well as 22 sets of sports uniforms to different soccer and volleyball teams in a well attended event held at Rurii Stadium.
Governor Kimemia reiterated his commitment to assist youths through an elaborate empowerment program, which has seen beneficiaries carry out successful income generating projects.
Earlier, at Kasuku town in Oljororok Sub County, the Governor met with representatives of People Living With Disabilities (PLWD) where he pledged to ensure that they will be represented in every sector in government.
He said a cabinet paper has been prepared to ensure that PLWD are given priority in areas of bursaries, health and social empowerment due to the challenges that they encounter.
