Faith Odhiambo current vice president of LSK
By: John Kariuki
Faith Odhiambo, the current vice president of the law society of kenya, is seeking the position of President of the professional body. She takes a moment to share with us her third campaign pillar:
I am excited to share with you the third pillar of my campaign agenda which focuses on the progress of the bar, practice and welfare.
During my tenure as your vice president, we successfully reengaged key stakeholders and partners who had previously distanced themselves during tumultuous previous regime. Notably, these partners generously supported our legal awareness week in 2023, showcasing the potential for further collaboration in training initiatives that will create enhanced opportunities for advocates across all levels. This collaboration will undoubtedly lead to an upliftment in practice and welfare standards. Such achievements have been made possible due to the stability we have diligently cultivated over the past 2 years.
I extend an invitation to each of you to join me on this journey towards progress. I offer myself as a reliable and capable leaderβa safe pair of hands committed to long-term overhaul rather than merely pursuing short-term, election-driven agendas.β
