Leading from the front and setting a good example is Mwea Constituency Member of Parliament Mary Maingi. She mentors, and she has time and again demonstrated her passion for education. Yesterday, she hosted Ngurubani Secondary School students and they had the opportunity to tour the Parliament and observe how the National Assembly conducts its business. It was an excellent academic tour that allowed the students to gain firsthand experience of the parliamentary process.
Later, she had the chance to engage in an interactive session with the students, inspiring them to strive for greatness and reach their full potential. We must prioritize providing our children with the right platforms to give them access to opportunities that can expand their views of the world and inspire them to live up to their full potential.
