The New Democrats (TND) gubernatorial candidate in Nyeri County Dr Thuo Mathenge yesterday took his campaign to the vast Kieni constituency
Dr Mathenge and his team toured Thegu River and Narumoro/Kiamathaga wards in his quest to ensure people understand his agenda ahead of the forthcoming General Election.
He told the local residents who he met that he had a very clear plan of liberating them economically by among other things, establishing cold rooms and industries for their horticulture produce.
The local promised to support his bid saying they had for a long time suffered despite producing quality farm produce.
“I have listened to Dr Thuo Mathenge and clearly, he is an agent of change who should be supported by those yearning for meaningful changes,” said Peter Maina, a farmer in the area.
