Kibwezi West MP Eckomas Mwengi Mutuse
By John Kariuki
In a bold and unsettling revelation, Kibwezi West Member of Parliament, Hon. Mwengi Mutuse, has called on authorities to investigate allegations involving Hon. Rigathi Gachagua and his close political associates. According to credible information received by the MP, Gachagua, through allies within and outside the government, is allegedly orchestrating activities aimed at inciting public unrest and fostering dissent against the current administration.
Mutuse expressed grave concern over claims that these activities may extend to recent cases of abductions, a troubling development that demands immediate attention.
“I challenge the former Deputy President to clarify his role in these allegations. If he is indeed complicit, the police must act decisively to ensure that he and his associates face justice. No one is above the law,” Mutuse stated.
The MP underscored the moral and legal responsibility of leaders to safeguard the welfare of citizens, condemning any attempts to exploit innocent lives for political gain.
“It is both morally wrong and utterly irresponsible for any leader to manipulate the lives of innocent citizens to advance political agendas,” Mutuse added.
As these allegations come to light, all eyes are on the authorities to ensure that justice is served and that the rule of law prevails. The gravity of these claims underscores the need for transparency, accountability, and the protection of public safety.
