Every time she runs
Her heart bandaged
And a swollen face
And in a sorrowful tone she tells me
How her ‘man’ hurt her to-day
While she is giving her everything
I take her in my arms
I kiss her just as a friend
The new wounds i care
Careful not to make her feel pain
This little thing
From every hurt she feels loved
Every night i check her to see
The fresh little lady in my arms
I am just a friend
The little hurt from a man
Are yet married to her
I try to replan my paths
With care not to trouble the troubled love
Ooh little girl, how you grow older and see
This is how i met her
Just as a friend i was
Now as a married woman to me
Yet hell in us exists
And she goes to her boy- friend
Will it be the same way i loose her to another man
Hell No!
I will do my best to make all things right
