Dozens of political, religious, governments, social and business community members met at Nyeri Golf Club for the Nyeri annual breakfast prayer meeting that entered its 11th year yesterday.
Archbishop Harrison Ng’ang’a who presided over the main sermon encouraged and reminded those present that they must be deliberate in the Lords work as per this year’s theme, “Behold am doing a new thing.”
Among those present during the ceremony that was organised by Nyeri Ecumenical Bishops Council chaired by Bishop Paul Wanjohi were Governor Mutahi Kahiga, his deputy David Kinaniri Warui, MPs Duncan Maina (Nyeri Town), John Kaguchia (Mukurwe-ini), KALRO chairman Dr Thuo Mathenge, MCAs Kamau Taiti, Kiruga Thuku and Agnes Wachira and John Munyiri of Media Council, friends from Nigeria and US, the business community led by Nyeri KNCCI Chairman Ibrahim Ndegwa, Regional Commissioner Ronald Mwiwawi, all CECMs as well as other senior staff among others.
