At the crossroads, shadows play,
A steadfast heart will find its way.
Through the pain, a lesson grew,
Life is a teacher in love too.
At times it’s harsh, at times it’s sweet,
Love has trials, yet none retreat.
In teardrops lies a wisdom true,
Life is a teacher in love too.
Love may come and love may go,
But hearts endure, they do not slow.
Each longing leaves a trace in view,
Life is a teacher in love too.
In sorrow deep, defeat was sown,
Yet victory in my soul was known.
Even pain taught something new,
Life is a teacher in love too.
And now I smile, my path is bright,
I chase my dreams with fearless light.
Each wound has wisdom shining through,
Life is a teacher in love too.
