It all started as a joke and everyone was asking what has the war between overseas nation to do with us. As time is going by and the war seems to get to the worst, Kenya as a nation we are already feeling the pinch of pain. The prices of all commodities have gone up putting the living standards of poor Kenyans at a very narrow edge.
Russia has been supplying oil products to our nation. Oil is known to be the core raw material for our industries. Now that Russia has failed to supply as with oil due to the prevailing war ,prices of all commodities have to go up to meet the increasing restrictions . The cost of refilling a six kilogram gas cylinder has shot up by 400 Kenyan shillings, prices of cooking oil 5 litres has increased by 250 shillings. Kenyans are suffering as a result of the disparaging situation overseas. We need something to be done to save lives of the citizens in Kenya.
