Digital traceability is emerging as a critical pillar in strengthening medicine safety, supply-chain accountability and health-system resilience across Kenya.
Speaking at the PharmaRegAfriSummit2026, Kenya Medical Supplies Authority Deputy Director for Supply Chain Management and Warehousing John Kabuchi highlighted the growing role of digital systems in tracking Health Products and Technologies from their source to health facilities across the country.
The systems enhance visibility across the supply chain, helping strengthen accountability, improve stock management and support the timely delivery of quality health products to healthcare providers and patients.
Through digital transformation and stronger supply-chain systems, KEMSA is contributing to a more transparent, responsive and resilient health-products ecosystem in Kenya.
