Egypt is a key destination for our Agricultural produce. Kenya is enhancing its economic ties through intensified trade, collaboration in Defence, Agriculture, Transport, Climate Change, Water Supply, Education and Knowledge Transfer in Scholarships, Tourism, among others.
Yesterday, the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt Wael Naserldin Attiya called on Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua at his Harambee House Annex office where they had strategic discussions on deepening trade and investment in these sectors, as outlined under the Joint Commission for Cooperation and other frameworks.
The Ambassador revealed that some Egyptian business community had interest in investing in the country.
Among other key issues touching on the two nations, that were discussed are steps of addressing visa requirements, for increased movement of the people.
