It is human nature to be curious

Worth Noting:

  • You find if a parent was a contractor dealing with low end housing construction the kid may involve himself with either middle class or high-end houses.
  • Having seen how the parents carried out their work he has a sound foundation of how housing construction operations are carried out so for him it will just be a matter of perfecting the trade.
  • You are likely to find people especially those who deal with machineries when they get in to trouble instead of fleeing the situation due to fear of the challenges that they are facing they immerse themselves into the issue with an aim of establishing the root cause of that challenge and the possible solutions.

The thirst for something other than what we have to bring something new, even if it is worse, some emotion, some sorrow; when our sensibility, which happiness has silenced like an idle harp, wants to resonate under some hand, even a rough one, and even if it might be broken by it.………………Marcel Proust, Swann’s Way.

An unborn baby especially in the third trimester reacts to factors that affect the mother. When the mother is angry the baby too is unhappy.  When the mother is either walking, sitting down or sleeping the baby will react by either kicking or resting. The foetus is interested with what is happening to the mother.

Once born the baby stays connected to the mother and relies on her for food, security and general care. Absence of mother makes the baby to cry until she returns.

Any movement by the mother the baby tries to emulate her, if she speaks the baby tries to do exactly the same even when unable to do it perfectly the baby will react in his own way by making a sound which as per him, he equates it to his mum’s speech.

Over time the baby perfects not only walking and speaking but also nonverbal signs like that of his mother or those other people who he regularly interacts with but does not stop there he tries to go beyond and behave like those other people are doing especially the issues bringing pleasure to him.

You can easily find a baby try to touch everything that he comes across yet this is not his mother’s character who only touches what she is interested in.

In school students usually wish to outperform their teachers by becoming better than them more so in terms of going for further studies like doctoral studies or taking a more challenging course in the same field.

Most of the teachers are happy with this as it is an inner drive by the students to work hard to reach the maximum height possible.

Children also have an urge to outperform their parents. Not that they are not well brought up nor are they uncontented with current situation but they are eager to know how those above your social status live.

Someone like Thomas Edison despite a thousand failures that he encountered he never gave up rather he tried to understand and identify the weaknesses in his steps then work on them in the next trial with an aim of attaining the target which was to make a light bulb and he eventually succeeded.

Those who came after Edison studied his works and furthered it by connecting more bulbs and other lighting systems all these due to eagerness to know how elaborate the lighting systems could be.

When we talk of innovation it means working on the already available invention projects with an aim of bettering them. Many institutions especially those involved in production process has research and development sections as they wish to remain competitive, relevant and cost effective.

In any market system where the suppliers have relatively good access to their products and demand is relatively the same among the suppliers what makes any of the supplier have an edge over the peers is innovation where he makes his processes more efficient endearing him to more clients.

This is applicable to all fields. It emanates from curiosity where those in charge ask themselves what else can we do to better our products, produce more, cut production costs, improve quality, tailor-make products to suit customer specifications.

Improvement in processes do not only happen in goods market but also service market that is why court processes and systems are enhanced from time to time for example by incorporating technology to minimize hand writing of proceedings, better archiving and easy retrieval of documents.
