A caucus of top government officials from Mount Kenya region and its diaspora was last Saturday in Kiambu county for its one-one interaction with local residents.
At Kahugu-ini Primary School grounds in Ng’enda Ward, Gatundu South constituency, the team comprising of Cabinet Secretary for Lands Alice Wahome, several Principal Secretaries led by the caucus chairperson Ms Mary Muthoni of Public Health and Professional Standards, State corporations CEOs, directors as well as area MP GG Kagombe and several MCAs, members of public were taken through various government initiatives in the area.
The caucus was in its fourth forum after past ones which have taken place in Murang’a, Embu and Meru Counties.
The forums are expected to change the regional residents’ perception on President William Ruto’s administration so as to earn him another term after the 2027 General Elections.
