Kenya is set to host the Elite Brands Awards International on December 13, 2024, at a hotel in Nairobi. This globally recognized event will bring together over 100 companies from 18 African countries to celebrate excellence, innovation, and ethical practices in various industries. The awards, organized by Jubilant Stewards of Africa, are designed to honor organizations and individuals who go beyond industry standards to make a meaningful impact on humanity.
Unlike conventional awards that focus solely on market leadership, the Elite Brands Awards International evaluates nominees based on the Organizational Performance Index (OPI). This system scrutinizes processes and systems, benchmarking them against globally acceptable standards to identify outstanding contributions. The awards promote best practices, ethics, and sustainability, setting a high bar for industry leadership.

Among the nominees is Mwananchi Credit, whose CEO, Dennis Mombo, expressed gratitude for the recognition. “This award is a significant milestone for our company, underscoring the impact of our dedication to quality and innovation. The nomination has elevated our brand and motivated us to continue striving for excellence,” he said. Mombo dedicated the recognition to his team and commended Jubilant Stewards of Africa for their initiative.
The list of nominees includes notable companies such as Ena Coach, Aquamist, Consolata Hospital Mathari, and Kenyatta University, among others. Previous awardees and sponsors like Safaricom, Kevian Kenya, and Robisearch Limited are also expected to participate in this year’s event.
The nomination process for the Elite Brands Awards International involves a thorough survey and research to identify deserving firms. Companies and individuals can also self-nominate through the official website.
