Kericho Tea Principal Wilson Samoei Gifts Mt. Kenya Times Reporter a present Alfayo Isaac during School prize Giving day at the school.

Youths who didn’t qualify for university level have been encourage to enroll in Technical and vocational training institutions to acquire skills that’s on the job market regardless of their academic grades.
Kericho principal said the several technical skilled jobs are required across the nation and also abroad and by acquiring such skills it will get young people to become self-reliant .
Speaking during the Prize giving day ,Kericho Tea Boys High School Wilson Samoei emphasized the youths to turned in large numbers and enroll in TVET institutions saying students who have challenged in fee payment isn’t a challenged since they can benefit through student loans through the government education kitty.
Samoei said they are focused in equipping the students with basic education by understanding all carreers which can land them job opportunities.
The principal also urged the students to be good ambassadors of the school in various education institutions they are joining . The school managed to send a 106 amd 145 students to universities and tertiary colleges respectively.
Samoei said the unity among the Teachers ,parents and students is the key which made them achieved the target and are aiming higher .
