Let teachers teach, with methods wide,
A blend of wisdom, heart, and guide.
In hands-on work, in stories told,
They ignite young minds with ways so bold.
Through games, they shape the abstract thought, to concrete idea,
And show that learning can’t be bought.
A puzzle here, a song in math,
They forge a more creative path.
They flip the Grade and let kids lead,
Fostering curiosity’s seed.
With every child, a different way,
They help them find their voice, their say.
In groups, they mold the minds to share,
In silence, teach the art of care.
With tech, they bring the world inside,
While nature makes the classroom wide.
A simple question, posed just right,
Can turn confusion into light.
A story woven into facts
Can make a history alive, intact.
They know when to step back, to see,
And let a child’s mind wander free.
Through trial, error, grit, and play,
They guide the soul to find its way.
So let them teach, as they know best,
With patience, love, and every test.
Their methods shape a future bright,
A world that’s learned to think and write.
(Teacher Evans Asikoyo, the poet)
