Nyandarua Governor Francis Kimemia has emerged the best performing governor in the country alongside Tharaka Nithi’s H.E Muthomi Njuki.
The governor received the top performance Leadership Award from Mizani Africa after topping the list in performance excellence.
He was feted in the overall performance that looked at development, service delivery and leadership qualities.
Under the leadership of Governor Kimemia, Nyandarua County has achieved notable milestones that include improvement in service delivery systems and structures as evidenced by numerous unqualified audits reports from the Auditor General and number one ranking in consecutive World Bank – sponsored Kenya Devolution Support Group (KDSP) rating.
