Nyeri UDA lobby group chairman Wanyaga Gathaka convene meeting to drum up support

The chairman of Kenya Kwanza Nyeri chapter lobby group Wanyaga Gathaka at the weekend hosted a delegates meeting drum up support for UDA politicians ahead of the forthcoming General Election.
The meeting, held at Senior Chief Wambugu Palace was attended by among others the Nyeri Town constituency parliamentary candidate Duncan Maina Mathenge and several politicians whom he defeated during the UDA nominations in April.
“As the chairman of Kenya Kwanza Alliance, Nyeri County chapter lobby group, I convened a successful meeting with selected UDA delegates from Nyeri Town constituency to drum up support for UDA candidates seeking various political seats in the forthcoming General Election,” Gathaka said yesterday.
Among those who attended were the UDA parliamentary candidate in the constituency, Duncan Maina Mathenge and aspirants who lost to him; Wakili Stanley Gacheru Wabandi as well as Regina Wambugu.
Gathaka disclosed that similar meetings in other counties will be held very soon.
