No nation on earth can claim to have experienced rain, sunshine or wind throughout the year. They appear but for a shorter period of time like ten hours of sunshine, a day of rain and half an hour of strong winds.
Summers in most countries have lengthy day time and short night time. In deserts located around the equator summers are extremely hot. If there is no adequate vegetation cover, the winds blows strongly and destroy many of things that they find on their way.
There are times they experience easterly winds while at other times they have westerly winds. Much as these deserts are hot there are times during the year when they become relatively cool.
Planting trees and irrigating them can play a huge role in regulating the conditions where they act as wind breakers and provides shade during summers as well as providing fresh oxygen required for inhalation.
Few water sources in such areas reduces chances of having hydroelectric power generation plants but presence of huge amounts of sun heat augers well with installation of solar panels to collect heat and provide power for lighting and cooking as well as industrial use.
Chances of enjoying water sports like surfing, hydrofoil, kite surfing, yachting, SUP, kayaking, wake boarding in desert areas are minimal however you can participate in sports like the great dune skiing, surfing, body boarding and sledging.
Many food crops do not grow well due to inadequate water but there are those crops like cassava, millet, cucumber and water melons that thrive well once planted in such zones.

Dealing with a young baby is quite demanding as they want maximum attention due to their inability to verbally speak about what they want rather they cry to signify that something is amiss or they require some attention. However this does not last forever as within 2 or more years they are able to speak and express their concerns.
Military and other disciplined forces training is usually tough as you are required to be hardened to be able to deal with different kinds of challenges facing the society in matters security but within a year you are done with the training all you need after that is regular practicing rather than extreme training so you a little bit relaxed.
Misbehaving kid brings shame to the parents as external observers blame the parents for not instilling good manners in him but that is not usually the case as at times the kid could be going against wishes of their parents.
The parents feel ashamed to be associated with the bad behaviour of such kids more so being blamed for the misdeeds of the kid but once he attains the legal adult age he is forced to take personal responsibility for his actions. This comes as a relief to the parent.
In every desert of calamities there are oases of good hope. Never hate where you are, rather seek to understand opportunities and how best you can benefit from them.
