Life isn’t just a test but a solitary journey,
Sometimes with worries, sometimes with youthful joy.
Reflecting on the deeds I’ve done,
I cast my gaze upon the past three years.
If happiness weren’t so fleeting,
My heart, with you, would treasure the days gone by.
Now, I must not succumb to loneliness,
I’ve gathered my golden moments, friends.
Let’s heed the call of youth and freedom,
Together, we would ascend the heights.
“Don’t let interesting events pass by,” they say,
Will our past joys remind us?
One’s curious, another a bookworm,
One’s a novice, another a poet.
One’s a dreamer, lost in fantasy,
One’s truthful, never speaks falsely.
We joked and conversed until dawn,
Sometimes debating about poets.
With playful banter until morning light,
Those days slipped away unnoticed.
Here we are, stepping into yet another year,
Even if I reach out, my hands won’t grasp.
I wrote this, a sentence engraved on a stone,
I won’t forget any of you, my friends.
