We are facing economic turmoil. Suffocating high fuel prices are only a symptom of economy in tatters.
Sloganeering politics are good for emotions and excitement. They offer nothing beyond.
This is moment for deep reflection and asking hard questions.
Our problem is our economy. It is not about our ethnic identity. Ethnic tactic of divide and conquer ended. The fiscal justice democratic uprising by Gen Z shifted the politics.
The dangerous ethnic dog whistle politics that some people are trying to introduce are a distraction from our collective problem.
Hustler economy was a hoax orchestrated by Mr. William Ruto. It was a well choreographed political lie. It was a meticulous long con game based on false promises.
Kenya has very hardworking, industrious, and entrepreneurial people. They don’t give up easily. They turn turbulence into resilience. Theirs is not just hope and faith. It is faith in action. This is what makes the country remain vibrant even under difficult circumstances.
I want to assure all Kenyans, our better days are around the corner. We must come together and secure our economic security. This is our collective mission.
Today, our problem is the extraction Mbeberu economy. This 120 years extraction must see fundamental structural change. It started with land grabbing, then introduced taxes, forced labour and now debt slavery.
In the Bible, God sent the great floods to judge the world because humanity had become overwhelmingly wicked, corrupt, and violent. Floods were a judgement. They were to clean up the sin and restore humanity discipline. Noah’s Ark was the Restart of new order.
Safina Party is telling Kenyans that our floods are here. The economic plague we are facing today. The economic pain you are going through is the floods.
Every Kenyan and each household is facing an economic plague. This plague is finishing all of us. It doesn’t know which tribe or region you come from. We are all suffering same economic pain.
As we defend our democracy and freedoms, it is not yet uhuru because our political freedoms are meaningless without economic progress. Our economic security is foundation of our dignity, opportunity and hope for the future.
We have been aggressively building our democracy. We must now come together and build our economy. This is about our lives. This is our hour of need. We must come together today not tomorrow.
We are facing an enormous challenge: The economic security of our people and the country. We stand at a pivotal moment where our choices now will define the future and prosperity of our children and the dignity of our nation.
We must bask in both political freedom and economic prosperity. We must kill this Mbeberu extraction economy. It is finishing our people. It is sinking us all.
My presidency will be consequential with your electoral mandate. It will be new direction and path for the country. It will be economic revolution underpinned by strong rule of law and clean governance. Ours will the constitutional economic order.
We are willing to work with those who share our agenda. Ours is not sloganeering politics. It is people’s issues. We believe in hard decisions. What we say is assurance. We won’t be drawn into empty sloganeering political contests. We are focused on the ball.
Our economic security is crucial national assignment. A prosperous, united, and sovereign nation is within our grasp, but it requires us to move together.
The path to our true economic freedom is not easy. It demands bold, and painful, decisions. It requires us to move from a culture of consumption to one of production, transforming our country from a net importer to a net exporter.
We must create an environment for competition and producing more cheaply. Our strength must come from production. An economy that stops producing cannot survive. A producing nation becomes rich. Money remains inside, creates jobs and drive technological innovation for production.
With your mandate, I want to see all Kenyans with equal rights and opportunities in our entire sovereign republic. Each of us must be well rewarded for their sweat and respected for the hard work you do. I want to see prosperous farmers, businesses and a people who grow rich from their labours. That’s why we have Safina- PESA FIST Agenda.
Our PESA FIST Agenda will end debt colonialism. It will liberate Kenyans from being financial slaves. Our agenda will guarantee healthy, educated and skilled population. It will stop government domestic markets borrowing and open floodgates for access to cheap credit. Our tax will be simple, predicable and set at sales tax of 5% not 16%. We will cut off regulatory bureaucracy to accelerate innovation and investments. And our agenda will build industrial scale manufacturing and high value added agricultural industry powered by reliable and cheap energy. Kenyans will have direct say in their security affairs.
It will be joyous to meet and see prosperous people from all communities of Kenya. I do not want to hear that one is condemned for being industrious because he or she is of different ethnic community. All I want to know is that he or she is a Kenyan and is working for the success of Kenya.
It is us coming together to ensure that we build industries working at full capacity, feeding our people, educating our children, providing good healthcare and improving quality of life for every Kenyan. I want to see that our workers receive fair treatment and just wages for their services to Kenyans.
Politics of divide and rule Kenyans are over. Politics of regional kingpins and ethnic blocks were dismantled by Gen Z revolution. All Kenyans are united for their economic and financial security. They are firmly together for their lives and interests.
Kenyans are not aiming to survive. They are aiming to thrive. The journey is long, and the path ahead demand collective effort and sacrifice. Our bold economic independence is necessary to secure our sovereignty, create millions of jobs, and ensure high quality of life for every Kenyan.
Let us turn Kenya into a beacon of economic prosperity and innovation. Let us all arise together for our Economic Freedom with Safina Party, the Ark for Economic Revolution.
