She was qualified and selected for the prestigious Maltina Teacher Of The Year award, where she emerged as the Yobe State Champion and one of the Top Ten Best Teachers in Nigeria in 2022. She is also an alumnus of the Fulbright Teaching Excellence And Achievement Program in the United States of America (2024) and a Master Trainer in Inclusive Education at the COMSTECH-Ida Rieu School For The Blind and Deaf in Karachi, Pakistan (2025).
As a Nigerian Ambassador to the RiseUP4Girls Educational Initiative of the United Nations Office On Drugs and Crime, Zainab is committed to promoting girls’ education and empowerment. She is also a member of the Microsoft Africa community, with certifications from Microsoft Learn, Edheroes, UNESCO MGIEP, and several other courses.
